Hi, I'm Lacey Cribb
Creator of Back East Newfoundland
I created the Back East Newfoundland Brand as a way to feel close to home no matter where you are. It is designed by Newfoundlanders for Newfoundlanders. Yes, honorary ones too!

My very short story
Lacey, the founder of Back East Co., is proudly from the Burin Peninsula, specifically Marystown.
She left Newfoundland in 2009 to work & live in Alberta, where she met her fiancé Kyler.
They welcomed two children in 2019 and 2021, traveling back to Newfoundland at least once a year. In 2024, they made the heartfelt decision to move back to the rock, and they are now feeling right at home.
The rock has a powerful pull on most Newfoundlanders, calling them back home.
I feel its pull every so often, and I want you to feel that connection, too. To remember, honour, and respect your roots.
Our brand represents the deep love and pride we have for Newfoundland. I want you to feel the saltwater breeze on your face and the pride of being connected to somewhere so unique.
Whether you live here or far away, I want you to feel like you are home.
